Who We Are?

Comprised of members from across the United Kingdom, our community focuses on advanced LEGO® Technic construction techniques. Our members utilize LEGO® Technic elements to build a diverse range of models, including remote-controlled vehicles, intricate automated machinery, mind-bending Great Ball Contraption modules and high-powered combat robots. With decades of experience in LEGO® Technic, our members possess the skills to bring complex designs to life.

What Is Power Dysfunctions?

Power Dysfunctions is a LEGO® online community for adult fans (AFOLs). We facilitate online interaction, organize in-person meetups, and participate in LEGO® shows throughout the United Kingdom. Our members exhibit their models and provide interactive displays for public engagement.

Why a Technic focused LOC?

LEGO® Technic often gets a reputation for being complicated. We’re here to change that! By showcasing its versatility, from adding life to System models to constructing sturdy, moving creations, we aim to inspire and educate. Technic is more than just a building system; it’s a gateway to a world of engineering marvels.

Through our interactive displays and educational workshops, we’ll demonstrate how Technic can be used to explore a wide range of STEM concepts, from gear ratios and mechanical advantage to electrical and pneumatic systems. By making learning fun and engaging, we hope to ignite a passion for STEM subject in builders of all ages.

What Do We Do?

Power Dysfunctions is more than just an online community. We’re a group of active LEGO® enthusiasts who connect online and offline. Our members exhibit their creations at various LEGO® shows across the UK, helping to raise significant funds for charity. We’re also dedicated to sharing our passion for LEGO® Technic and STEM. We’re currently developing educational demonstration builds and planning online and in-person workshops to inspire the next generation of builders and engineers.
